We are two Reiki teachers and practitioners based in London offering Reiki courses at myhotel Bloomsbury in central London. We practise and teach our London Reiki courses in the style of the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui, who used Reiki to directly work on physical and emotional conditions. Students have travelled to our UK Reiki courses from such far-flung locations as America, Austria, Brazil, Greece, Jordan, Switzerland and Spain.
What is Reiki? In short, Reiki is a Japanese energy healing system, whereby a trained Reiki practitioner channels external energy into the client in order to improve their health and wellbeing. Active Reiki practitioners, like the founder of Reiki Mikao Usui, work directly on the client's presenting condition(s) using visualisation and intention to optimise the healing effects. Passive Reiki practitioners predominantly use Reiki for relaxation.
By learning a Reiki course you can learn to self-heal, working on your own physical, emotional and spiritual problems, as well as using Reiki on others (once you have taken a level 2 Reiki course).
